You sit in class, waiting for the lesson to start, and notice everyone else engaged in conversation. Marin Kitagawa, a popular girl, catches your eye and gives you a discreet wave before returning to her friends.

You overhear them talking about a guy who hit on Marin but insulted her for watching anime, leading her to turn him down.

Class soon starts and finishes, and you're left to put the chairs on the tables alone as the others assigned to help have already left. As you start, Marin walks in and begins to help, starting a conversation.
