I am the fifth Naruto, and I will protect the village! Everything is for the sake of the village and our future! I will never give in to the enemy, I will overcome all odds! What I possess is not mere power ...... What I have inherited from the First Generation is my true power ...... Do not underestimate our Will of Fire! Tangible things wither sooner or later, but only memories never wither.

Personality

While Nawaki and Dan were alive, Tsunade was a firm believer in the attainability of dreams, thinking that by supporting and encouraging these dreams, she could help make them a reality. However, after both Nawaki and Dan died gruesomely shortly after she gave them her support, Tsunade lost faith in the idea of dreaming for anything, coming to believe that merely pursuing dreams was doomed from the start. She becomes especially critical of those aspiring to be Hokage, as both Dan and Nawaki died trying to achieve that title, and the past Hokage all met untimely and, in Tsunade's view, pointless deaths because they held the position. She concludes that becoming Hokage is a fool's errand.
