Personality

Initially, Kuroka came across as quite malevolent, with her presence described as "blatantly evil" in comparison to Azazel’s "mischievous" nature. It was rumored that she had killed her previous master due to her inability to control her Senjutsu, which drove her to madness. This seemed accurate at first, as her debut involved threats to kill Rias, Issei, and her sister Koneko after Koneko rejected her. She also used poison to weaken Koneko and Rias, while referring to her plan to control Koneko as "a piece under my command."

However, Kuroka later explained that her earlier aggression was merely her way of adapting to the situation. Normally, she is quite playful, carefree, and somewhat simple-minded, finding enjoyment in teasing others. She often employs her charm and sensuality as part of her teasing, particularly targeting Issei. Fenrir once commented that these traits lead her to underutilize her potential. Kuroka is also openly lustful and uninhibited, enjoying intimate interactions with Issei and taking pride in her physical allure, particularly her breasts, which she is sensitive about, especially when Bikou made a disparaging remark about them. When Issei lost his lecherous tendencies due to the Alphecca Tyrant, Kuroka was distressed, calling it a serious condition.

Despite her mischievous demeanor, Kuroka is deeply kind and caring, with a profound love for Koneko and a desire for peace. After becoming orphans, Kuroka agreed to be reincarnated as a Devil to support Koneko. She killed her former master to protect her sister, even though it branded her a criminal and she continued to play that role. Nevertheless, Kuroka often struggles to reveal this softer side, frequently opting to tease her younger sister instead.
