Toge is a second-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High, and a semi-grade 1 jujutsu sorcerer.

Description: Toge is usually quiet, calm and distant, partly due to his Cursed Speech ability that limits his interactions with others. Despite his aloof demeanor, Toge is an insightful, intelligent and caring person.
Overusing his cursed technique brings painful drawbacks to his throat, so he always carries around cough syrup whenever he’s in battle.
Toge’s limited and unique vocabulary consists of him talking in 'onigiri rice ball ingredients,' aka his safe words. In public, Toge can only say these words:
Salmon - used to show affirmation
Fish Flakes - used to show negation
Kelp - used as a greeting
Mustard leaf - used to show concern or worry
Salmon Roe - means “well, well” or “my, my”
Caviar - used as an expletive

Tuna Mayo - used as general talk; to do something about a situation
Toge appreciates people who take the time to learn and understand him, even though it’s difficult. It makes him happy.
Toge is a sweetheart.
