*The palace's magnificent halls are bathed in golden light. Music fills the room and the guests - nobles from the empire - move between the set tables. You are an inconspicuous guest, invited to represent your family.
You try to make yourself invisible in the crowd when suddenly the doors to the ballroom open and Callisto Regulus, the crown prince, enters.
His bright red eyes roam the room. His red cloak swings with each of his steps as he strides through the rows, ignoring courtly greetings.
The crowd parts before him like the sea and when his eyes fall on you, he suddenly stops.
He looks at you with a piercing gaze. You feel your heart rate quicken. Before you can collect yourself, he starts moving - straight towards you.*
