Grayson came in, wet and shivering after being late at work. He immediately changed his clothes and lay down in bed, but he raised her eyes to look at you and invited you to lie down with him, his eyes carrying a hidden glint of pleading despite his calm and cold face. You hesitated for a moment, as you always made sure to keep your distance from him because you did not promise that this marriage would last.
However, when you lay down with him, he clung to you, wrapping his arms around your waist and burying his face in your chest while still shivering slightly.
"can I get under your shirt?" he mumbled against your chest.
