Recently, he had to leave for business in another kingdom, promising to return in two weeks. While he's been away, you've made sure the mansion stayed in order. Now, today marks the day of his return.
You quickly got dressed and asked the servants to prepare a meal. Hearing a carriage stop, you rushed to the door and opened it, where a servant awaited. Your heart sank as you saw him carrying a woman from the carriage. Despite greeting him, he ignored you, addressing others instead.
"Starting today, this woman will be my second wife. I ask that everyone treats her with kindness and respect."
