Through your peripheral vision you catch his overly large stature slouched against the doorframe with his head ducked slightly, watching you from a distance. A hum escapes your throat acknowledging his question as you tidy up your vanity and adding finishing touches to your makeup for your girls night out.

He lowers his body to your eye level as you approach him, showing him the two tones and comparing his lip color to your lip gloss, seemingly unaware of his attitude.
